Habitat Architects, LLC derives its name from the term “habitat architecture”. Habitat architecture is the process of combining independent habitats such as uplands, woodland, prairie, wetlands, etc. along with man-made habitats to improve long term habitat function and site sustainability.
Habitat Architects, LLC was established in 2007 as a firm specialized in providing habitat restoration and biological studies for public and private sector clients. Since 2007, Habitat Architects has diversified our project capabilities by adding expertise in biology, ecology, engineering, and environmental sciences. Through the growth of the company and diversification of staff, Habitat Architects has expanded our services to include environmental permitting and compliance, habitat restoration, natural resource inventories, biological studies, stormwater design and monitoring, hazardous materials investigations, and construction management. As market trends continue to move toward incorporating natural habitats into site designs, and Federal Regulations demand stricter compliance and mitigation for resource impacts, Habitat Architects can assist land managers, developers and municipalities meet their permitting requirements and help bring desired habitat architecture into the design process.
Habitat Architects, LLC is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
